The Cybersecurity Coalition appreciates the opportunity to provide our comments on Draft NISTIR 8278 National Cybersecurity Online Informative Reference (OLIR) Program. The inclusion of informative references in the NIST Cybersecurity Framework has proven to be significant aid for organizations seeking to use the Framework in conjunction with other standards. As the Framework and other standards continue to evolve, and as new standards are introduced, maintaining an updated and accurate catalog of how they map together will be a welcome and impactful addition to effective risk management. The Coalition is highly supportive of OLIR and thanks NIST for their ongoing efforts.
